The Ridgefield Public Schools Foundation is seeking individuals and foursomes for their 13th annual golf tournament at Tri-Mountain Golf Course in Ridgefield. The tournament will be held on Monday, July 24.

“Our annual golf tournament is one of our two big fundraisers we host each year and it plays a big role in our ability to fund our grants and scholarships we’re able to make available to our district’s educators and students,” Joe Manning, RPSF trustee, stated in a press release. “It’s a wonderful way to spend a summer day and support our community at the same time.”

The Ridgefield Public Schools Foundation’s website states the golf tournament and accompanying silent auction are used to fund classroom and district-wide projects focused on arts, literacy, STEM and SEL. The funding also goes toward student scholarships for music lessons, driver training and post-secondary college and career training. The funding will also support the Ridgefield Family Resource Center to support low-income families in the Ridgefield Public Schools District.
