Letter to the editor: Use civil discourse to communicate, not poor behavior

Posted

This election has brought out the worst in many people here in Clark County. Campaign election laws are ignored (false information in flyers against opponents a la 45; large signs in medians or in front of opponents’ signs, old photos used on flyers — that would be John Ley); ballot collection boxes torched in Fisher’s Landing; campaign signs on private property stolen or defaced; even excrement thrown on lawns of people who think differently from those doing the throwing.

What has happened to civil discourse? Are the only ways to disagree with others to break the law, burn ballots and throw excrement at your neighbors? Shame on you! Use your words.
Civilly.
