Letter to the editor: Kent is not who we need in our state’s government or  in D.C.

Posted

I don’t know Joe Kent. But, I do know who some of his friends are: Donald Trump and Steve Bannon, two men who set this country ablaze over the last few years.

Bannon wants to drown the government, Trump wants to rule it.

Both men are willing to create violent chaos and treason to achieve their goals.

Joe, with his Hollywood looks and gift of smooth talk, can sell Jaguars, or ice to the Aleuts. His presence is of such a person. Or as someone once said of him: “Good hair. Bad ideas.”

He spews the conspiracies of Qanon. He believes women have no rights over their own bodily needs. He is outraged at Gov. Jay Inslee and Dr. Anthony Fauci for mandating masks, and mocks vaccines, calling them “experimental gene therapy.” He defends those arrested who attacked the Capitol by calling them “political prisoners” who were simply “questioning things.”

Joe is the front man for local and national hostile quasi-militia and hate groups waiting for the “call to arms.”

Joe Kent is not who we need in our state’s government, or in Washington, D.C. We do not need  his brand of political discouragement and discord any longer.
