Clark County schedules community needs assessment forum

Clark County Community Services will host four public forums in January regarding the low-income community needs survey conducted earlier this year. Discussion and feedback from attendees will be included in the final needs assessment report.

Feedback will help determine spending decisions countywide for community services and programs, a Clark County press release stated.

The confidential survey, issued earlier this year, asked low-income residents about their families’ needs. Community Services conducts a community needs assessment every three years.

Registration for community forums is encouraged. Interpretation services can be provided upon request, and light refreshments will be available during in-person forums.

Forums will take place at:

Vancouver community forum from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 9 at the Vancouver Community Library in the Columbia Room, at 901 C St. Open house/data walk will be held from noon to 5 p.m.



Ridgefield community forum from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 9 at Ridgefield Community Library in the Allene Wodaege Community Room, located at 210 N Main Avenue. Open house/data walk will be held from 1p.m. to 5 p.m.

Camas community forum from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 17 at Camas Public Library in the Dual Meeting Rooms A & B, located at 625 NE Fourth Ave. Open house/data walk will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
