The WSU Master Gardeners will host the class “Get Growing: Introduction to Vegetable Gardening” from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 28.
The hands-on workshop is accessible to beginners and will teach people how to garden properly. Participants will learn about site selection, soil preparation, crop selection, pest and disease management, irrigation, and more. People are also asked to wear sturdy shoes and to dress for the weather. It is advised that participants bring their own water bottles and lunch as well.
The cost is $10. Tickets can be purchased at https://tinyurl.com/28kj4n43. The class will be located in Hazel Dell. The exact location will be provided after registration.
