The City of Woodland is accepting applications for projects and programs funded through its Lodging Tax Fund, which supports local tourism promotion efforts. Completed applications are due by 12 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9.

The city uses lodging tax revenue to fund activities designed to increase tourism, with priority given to projects expected to drive overnight stays in Woodland lodging establishments, according to a City of Woodland news release.

Applicants must provide project details, budget information and an explanation of how the proposal benefits the community, particularly through tourism and overnight stays. Information about an applicant’s previous projects is also required.

Applications may be submitted in person at Woodland City Hall, 230 Davidson Ave., or emailed to Amanda Hougan at hougana@ci.woodland.wa.us. For questions, call 360-225-8281.
