Two people are dead and another has been hospitalized after an incident in Battle Ground on Tuesday morning.
Officers with the Battle Ground Police Department (BGPD) and Clark County Sheriff’s Office arrived at a home in the 2100 block of Northeast Second Avenue and found two people deceased and one injured from varying wounds, BGPD Chief Dennis Flynn told The Reflector at the scene.
The call was received at 9:57 a.m. on Tuesday, June 3, according to the Pulsepoint app.
“Officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of Northeast Second Avenue. When the officers arrived, they found a female that was hysterical that said that she had gotten to the residence and found several people down on the ground,” Flynn said. “When officers went inside, they found three people that had varying wounds on them. Two of the people were determined to be deceased. A third, male subject, was alive and was transported to the hospital in critical condition.”
Flynn added that investigators do not believe there are any suspects at large. On Tuesday morning, he said it was too early to determine the manner of the deaths.
“There are no known threats in the area and the Battle Ground Police Department is also working in conjunction with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office on the investigation,” Flynn said.
