Clark County Public Health has lifted its health advisory at Round Lake in Camas after recent water samples showed improved conditions and toxin levels below thresholds.
Warning signs at the lake are being removed, but harmful algal blooms can return as conditions change. Visitors should avoid areas with floating scum and prevent pets from drinking or entering affected water, a news release by Clark County stated.
The danger advisory for Vancouver Lake, first issued July 23, remains in effect due to elevated cyanotoxin levels from harmful algae. Visitors are advised against recreating at Vancouver Lake, and pet owners should keep animals out of the water.
