The Ridgefield Lions Club recently received an award recognizing its support of Neighbors
Helping Neighbors, a local charity that provides food, clothing and household staples to families and individuals in need.
Neighbors Helping Neighbors Treasurer Judy Chipman presented the award to Ridgefield Lions President Stacy Mueller during a recent Lions meeting, according to a Ridgefield Lions Club press release.
“We’re proud to help such an important organization in our community,” Mueller said in the release. “We sincerely appreciate the recognition.”
The Ridgefield Lions also welcomed a new member, Dave Root, during a Sept. 23 meeting. Lion Shannon Schick sponsored Root. Stephen Staudinger of the Battle Ground Lions, a past Lions District Governor, officiated the initiation.
