The City of Ridgefield will host a series of Council Chats this spring, offering residents an opportunity to meet with city councilmembers, ask questions and share feedback in a casual setting.
The Council Chats, launched last year, are designed to encourage community engagement and provide updates on city initiatives. Each event is free and open to the public and will be held at local businesses with complimentary refreshments available, according to a city news release.
Spring 2026 Council Chats will be held as follows:
- Saturday, April 11: 8:30-10 a.m., Lava Java, 2 S. 56th Place, Suite 102, Ridgefield. Hosted by Mayor Matt Cole and Mayor Pro Tem Judy Chipman. Complimentary coffee.
- Wednesday, April 29: 4-5:30 p.m., Little Conejo, 206 N. Main Ave., Suite 110, Ridgefield. Hosted by Councilmembers Rian Davis and Katie Favela. Complimentary chips and salsa.
- Saturday, May 16: 2-3:30 p.m., Eight Cow Creamery, 4327 S. Settler Drive, Suite 140, Ridgefield. Hosted by Mayor Matt Cole and Councilmember Meghan Hamilton. Complimentary kids’ scoop of ice cream.
- Wednesday, June 3: 7:30-9 a.m., Rosauers Café, 101 S. 47th Ave., Ridgefield. Hosted by Councilmembers Lee Wells and Clyde Burkle. Complimentary pastries.
