Ridgefield High School will perform its fall dark comedy play, “Arsenic and Old Lace,” through Nov. 9 at Ridgefield High School Performing Arts Center, 2630 S. Hillhurst Road, Ridgefield.
“Arsenic and Old Lace,” by Joseph Kesselring, combines wit, suspense and humor to tell the tale of Mortimer Brewster. During a weekend visit with his aunts, Brewster discovers surprising family secrets in the basement, a press release by Ridgefield School District (RSD) stated.
“We are excited to showcase this beloved classic and the tremendous talent of our Ridgefield High School students. It’s a show that will have audiences laughing while also keeping them on the edge of their seats,” the RSD press release stated.
Performances are available at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for students and $5 for students with an Associated Student Body card. Purchase tickets online at shorturl.at/MdflT.
