Originally built in 1876, the Cedar Creek Grist Mill has been a thriving, historic location in north Clark County for decades.
In the 1980s, a group of volunteers revitalized the structure with major restoration projects, including the cedar shake roof.
Now, some four decades later, in order to preserve the 150-year-old Cedar Creek Grist Mill, roof restoration is happening again. On Thursday, Oct. 8, new cedar shake roofing was actively being installed on the grist mill while many visitors enjoyed the quiet scenery and early fall colors around the property located at 43907 NE Grist Mill Road, between Woodland and Amboy.
