The Port of Woodland Commission sold a 2-acre parcel of land to Taylor Trucking, owned by its parent company MMR Enterprises, at the Schurman Way Industrial Park.

The property, near Guild Road and Schurman Way, went up for sale two years ago and sat vacant for the past 20 years, according to a news release.

“The port is excited to work with Taylor Trucking having a hub here in Woodland. They have been a wonderful company to work with and it will be a huge benefit to numerous companies here in Woodland,” stated Executive Director Jennifer Wray-Keene in the release.

Property owners, the City of Woodland and the port started to develop Schurman Way Industrial Park in the 1990s through funds from Cowlitz County Commissioners. The park includes 50 acres, according to the release.

Peri Formworks, Tribeca Transport, AmeriGas and Hamilton Drywall all lease parts of the park, states the release. This transaction filled the last open spot at the industrial park. Last month, Brown Strauss leased 25 acres.
