The Clark County Youth Commission is seeking nominations for the 2026 Youth Achievement Awards. Nominations are due by 5 p.m. Friday, March 13.
The Youth Commission annually recognizes up to 300 local youth for personal growth and community involvement across 13 categories: arts, career development, citizenship, courage, diversifier, education, empathy, environmental stewardship, family life, inspiration, leadership, personal achievement and sportsmanship.
“Recognition is a powerful way to help young people feel valued and connected to their community,” Clark County officials said in a news release. “Youth development research demonstrates that having opportunities for positive involvement in the community, and being recognized for that involvement, helps young people be healthy, happy and successful.”
Nomination forms are available online at shorturl.at/ZZBiL. Honorees will receive a certificate, commemorative pin and video message from the Youth Commission by late May.
