NatureScaping of Southwest Washington, a botanical garden located at 11000 NE 149th St., Brush Prairie, is seeking a new board president to begin service in January 2026.
NatureScaping is a volunteer-run nonprofit that promotes education on native plants, wildlife habitat and sustainable gardening practices. The gardens showcase plants that attract wildlife and serve as a model for habitat-friendly landscaping, NatureScaping of Southwest Washington stated in a press release.
Outgoing president Meredith Hardin will step down at the end of the year. She plans to remain on the NatureScaping board, the press release stated.
The next president will lead the NatureScaping board, support program coordinators and represent the organization in the community. The position is a volunteer leadership role, focused on strategic direction. The board meets monthly, either in-person or online.
