More than 2,000 voters in Clark County receive incorrect ballots

Voters in two election precincts in east Clark County received incorrect ballots for the November general election, the county announced Monday.

A news release stated 2,120 voters in precincts 625 and 930 received incorrect ballots, and will be receiving a correct ballot and letter of explanation.

If affected voters return an incorrect ballot, that ballot will be held until the end of the election to allow voters time to return the correct ballot, the county stated. The county elections office stated they have added procedures to reduce the likelihood of something similar happening in the future. The county also apologized for the confusion and inconvenience the mistake caused.

Voters who have concerns or questions about the incorrect ballots, or other election-related issues, should contact the elections office by calling 564-397-2345 or emailing elections@clark.wa.gov.
