Letter to the editor: We don’t need extremism on the Ridgefield School Board

Posted

Ridgefield has a stark choice for the school director District 5 seat. Zenia Bringhurst is the area vice president for corporate accounts for Boston Scientific with a degree in biochemistry. She is a role model for young women in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and is known for her volunteerism in the community.

Chantel Nash, lists staging a protest against a vaccine clinic organized by Ridgefield students as her qualification. At the Sept. 28 school board meeting, she rails against “luciferian groups and marches all over America chanting hate and division” in reference to BLM symbols.

I urge Ridgefield voters to vote for Zenia Bringhurst and also make sure your friends and neighbors are aware of the high stakes. We don’t need extremism on the Ridgefield School Board.
