Letter to the editor: Proposed RV park location may attract transient people

Posted

Woodland is considering a new RV park which would be good for the community if it is as well maintained as the park down by the river or the one in east Kelso. My concern is that Woodland is a clean community that is growing as people move north. With that growth comes many things, which include some development that’s poorly laid out. In this case, the RV park is trying to build near the freeway in a wooded location near the freeway and some small schools. The concern is the proposed location may attract transient people and not be conducive to an attractive, well-maintained park. I have lived in several parks, so I know location is important in getting and keeping quality residents.
