Letter to the editor: Joe Kent should explain who has been financing his salary

Posted

Joe Kent claims he made $122,110.36 last year as a “project manager” for a tech start-up called “American Enterprise Solutions.” The company is in Virginia, but on my own research, I found no record of this company’s existence in Virginia (or even in the U.S.) nor did I find any filings or trademarks.

Joe Kent recently claimed that he forgot the name of the company. The campaign manager also lied to the people when they claimed, “The typo is my fault and I accept full responsibility for the transcription error.” However, Joe Kent repeatedly said the name of the company he worked for was “American Enterprise Solutions” 30 times. How do you forget the name of the company you work for?

The company’s Virginia business license isn’t even active as the company failed to pay an annual fee in August.

Joe claimed his opponent Marie Gluesenkamp Perez’s auto repair shop supplied antifa members with leaf blowers to use as weapons, which is ridiculous.

Maybe instead of launching conspiracy theory attacks at politicians Joe Kent disagrees with like Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, Joe Kent should focus on explaining who has been financing his salary, as it certainly isn’t “American Enterprise Solutions.”
