Vergil Aschoff passed away peacefully on May 19, 2022. After graduating from Sandy Union High School in Portland, Oregon he joined the U.S. Army during the Korean War where he met and married the love of his life Alice (Ellie) Aschoff (Weed) from Ozark, Alabama. They later settled in Amboy, Washington, raising their three children.
He is survived by Ellie Aschoff from Ocean Park, Washington; brother Vernon Aschoff from Gresham, Oregon; daughter Ann Bryant and husband Bob from Ocean Park; daughter Jan Kelly from Portland; and son Geoff Aschoff and wife Shellie from Battle Ground, along with six grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
