Ruth Marian Williams was born on Feb. 20, 1929, to John and Hilda Luokkala in Thomson Township, Minnesota. She died on Jan. 17, 2025, at Gabriela’s Quality Care adult family home, where she had been living and receiving compassionate care for almost three years.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alvin (Al) F. Williams, and one grandson.
She is survived by her son, Dale Williams (spouse, Kirsten) from Richland, Washington; her daughters, Annette Hoxie (spouse, Donald) from Battle Ground, Washington, and Sheryl McFarland (spouse, Krist) from Pleasant Grove, Utah; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service for her on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 11101 NE 119th Street, Brush Prairie, WA.
