In loving memory of Raydene McDaniels: 1929-2021

Raydene McDaniels was born December 31, 1929, in Kettle Falls, Washington, to Raymond and Ruth Heidegger.  She passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at her home at Mallard Landing Assisted Living in Battle Ground, Washington, at the age of 91 years.

Raydene lived in Clark County most of her life and was a member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her children Juanita (Dave) Reddig of Brush Prairie, Washington; Ruth (Ed) Hallstrom of New York Mills, Minnesota;  Mary (Alvin) Kangas of Lake Norden, South Dakota; Norvell (Karen) McDaniels of LaCenter, Washington; Millie McDaniels of Battle Ground, Washington; Eldon (Sherry) of Kennewick, Washington; and Archie (Sherry) of Brush Prairie, Washington.

Raydene is also survived by siblings Lillian Koistinen of Hayti, South Dakota; Barbara Jolma of Hot Springs, Montana; Harold (Mary) Heidegger of Battle Ground, Washington; Faith (David) Kangas of Battle Ground, Washington; and sisters-in-law Shelley Heidegger of Yacolt, Washington, and Yvonne Heidegger of Lonepine, Montana.  She was also blessed with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of Christian friends.

Raydene was preceded in death by her husband, Earl in 1999; her parents; brother and sister-in-law Albert and Dorothy Heidegger; sister and brother-in-law Margaret and Pete Paladeni; brother-in-law Wilbur Koistinen; brother-in-law Clarence Jolma; brother Paul Heidegger; and infant sister Hope Heidegger.  She was also preceded in death by grandchildren Lyle McDaniels and Jill Cichosz, great-grandchilden Mya Nelson and Derek Homola, great-great grandson Cecil Kopman and dear friend, Marilyn Rotschy.

Service was held at Old Apostolic Lutheran Church of Lewisville, Friday, August 13, 2021.
