Peter Chester Mackiewicz, 67, died Dec. 10, 2024.
He was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, on July 23, 1957.
His family moved to Southern California when he was 13. He enjoyed high school football and riding his bicycle.
Pete worked 45 years in the transportation industry, starting with air cargo. He later drove a semi truck for the majority of his career.
Pete loved helping others and working with children, especially those with disabilities. He loved telling jokes, making beef jerky and DIY handyman projects.
Pete was a proud and regular blood donor to the American Red Cross.
He is survived by his mother, Anna; wife, Christy; son, Stefan Mackiewicz; daughters, Jessica Allison (Nate) and Jamie Wiggin (Andy); grandson, Logan; and other family members.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Feb. 22, 2025, at Starting Grounds Church, 203 S. Parkway, Battle Ground, Washington.
