Paul John Lehner was born to John and Alice Lehner on April 2, 1949, at their home in Battle Ground, Washington, and died at his home in Battle Ground on Dec. 29, 2021, after a battle with cancer.
Paul loved his family and enjoyed fishing, golfing, and cruising with family and friends. He was a great athlete and coached many teams, but he especially loved to watch his grandchildren play sports. After retirement from a 25 year career at Blue Bell Potato Chips, he started A Cut Above Lawn Service in 2003 with his son, Jason.
Paul is survived by his high school sweetheart, Cheryl Weisenborn Lehner, whom he married on Oct. 3, 1970. He is also survived by their two children Heather Grotte and Jason Lehner; son-in-law Jason Grotte; daughter-in-law Casey Lehner; and six grandchildren Hailey Grotte, Jayce Grotte, Jaylyn Lehner, Luke Lehner, Jaiden Olafson and Blake Olafson. Paul was truly loved by all and will be missed.
