Harold “Hal” R. Jones passed away at home surrounded by family on May 12, 2022. He was 89 years old, born to Harold F. and Alta Jones. Hal is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jackie and his sister, Joyce (Larry) Shipp. Hal is survived by his brother, Richard (Diane) Jones; daughters, Becky Schippers, Paula (Warren) Edgley, Judy (Ed) Greer; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; cousin “Bud” Merrill; and numerous nieces and nephews. Hal was a successful business owner prior to retirement. He had many passions, including owning and flying small engine airplanes, fishing and fly fishing with his grandchildren, breeding and racing thoroughbred horses and playing golf and tennis. He also enjoyed spending time with family and often requested to see his great-grandchildren. Hal was such an important part of our lives and we will greatly miss him. Love you Pops!
Graveside services will be held for family and friends at 2 p.m. May 24 at Lewisville Cemetery in Battle Ground, Washington.
