Gwenyth Faye Wiebusch, of Ridgefield, Washington, passed away into her Lord’s arms on May 4, 2025, at the age of 87. Gwen was born June 21, 1937 in Red Wing, Minnesota, to Carlyle and Delia Eldred.
Gwen was baptized, confirmed and married at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Red Wing, Minnesota. She married Hugo Wiebusch on March 16, 1957. Gwen was Hugo’s loving wife for 66 years.
Gwen is survived by her sister, Maxine Place of Baldwin, Wisconsin; children, Monica (Marty) Dierker of Greenfield, Wisconsin, Craig (Monica) Wiebusch of Ridgefield, Washington, Anne (Gary) Hagel of Holmen, Wisconsin; granddaughters Kathryn of Astoria, Oregon, and Britny of Longmont, Colorado, Stephanie of Beaverton, Oregon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gwen loved serving her Lord and the church community at Peace Lutheran Church. She was a supporter of Christian education for her children and grandchildren. Music and singing in the church choir was a favorite of hers.
Gwen was loved by many. We rejoice that God loved her enough to call her to her home in heaven.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Gwen Wiebusch Memorial Fund at Peace Lutheran Church.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on July 2, 2025, at Peace Lutheran Church, 13112 NE 28th Street, Vancouver, Washington.
