In Loving Memory Of George Frice: 9/6/1945-6/14/2023

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of my husband of 52 years, George Robert Frice.

George is survived by his wife, Patsy; his children, Darla O'Brien, Michael (Raechel) Frice and Christy (Brady) Penttila; six surviving grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his sisters, Sandra (Ron) Powell, Bobbi Ellis, Jennifer (Wayne) Sommers; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Minnie Frice; his brother-in-law, Shane Ellis; and his eldest grandson, Cody O'Brien.

George loved sharing God with his eldest great-grandson, Aaron Filby, 9. They were dedicated church buddies.

George enjoyed hunting and fishing and was creative in making different styles of leather products and making walking sticks and canes for his many friends and family members. He flew to Afognak, Alaska, via Kodiak Island for fishing with his son, Michael, and grandson, Corwin, and had a great time catching halibut and salmon. George also enjoyed playing poker and shooting pool with his son, Michael, once a week and going on outings with friends and family. Oh yes, he also enjoyed watching the soap opera “Young and the Restless.” Yes, he did.

Not only did he have numerous family members, but he also had so many friends he respected and they all had a special place in his heart. We will all miss this great, loving and caring man.

George was a member of Ridgefield Jaycees and the Good Sam RV Club.

A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, at Landmark Church, 1504 W. Main St., Battle Ground, Washington. If you would like to send flowers to the church for George Frice's Service that day, the church will be open at 8 a.m.
