Hockinson High School Theatre Company will present the comedic drama “One Stoplight Town,” a collaborative production involving 74 students from Hockinson High School and Hockinson Middle School.
Set in a small town, the play opens with the installation of a new stoplight at its only intersection. The story follows residents over 25 to 30 years as they fall in love, navigate family changes and consider leaving home, according to a Hockinson School District news release.
The production includes about 40 cast members and 25 crew members. Eight student directors helped with casting and shaping the show’s vision. The senior leads, who appear in many scenes, are Kieran Harwood as Tom, Sydney Aldridge as Barb and Caleb Carter as Jim.
Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 22-24, with a matinee at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24. Shows will take place at Hockinson High School, 16819 NE 159th St., Brush Prairie. Tickets may be purchased on-site or online at shorturl.at/5KW1T.
