Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez will co-host a veterans career and resource fair with the Clark College Veterans Center of Excellence from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, at Clark College’s Gaiser Hall,1933 Fort Vancouver Way, Vancouver.
Southwest Washington veterans and their families will have the opportunity to meet with local organizations and employers, learn about employment opportunities and get support with veterans benefits. Veterans are encouraged to bring a copy of their DD214 (Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty).
“It’s our responsibility to ensure our nation’s heroes are well-supported after returning home,” Gluesenkamp Perez said in a press release. “The Veterans Career and Resource Fair will help ensure our Southwest Washington veterans and their families can access the resources, jobs and benefits they deserve.”
