The community is invited to help supply Furry Friends cat rescue with giving tree donations, hosted at local businesses. The fundraiser will run from Friday, Nov. 29, to Monday, Jan. 2, 2025. Colorful boxes will be available at participating businesses for item drop-offs.
“This is an important time of the year for Furry Friends because every dollar we don’t have to spend on supplies goes towards the care and rehabilitation of the cats and kittens in our shelter,” a press release by Furry Friends stated.
Businesses may register a giving tree with Furry Friends by emailing Danielle Chancey at danielle.chancey@furryfriendswa.org. Businesses with a giving tree will be promoted on the Furry Friends website, social media and newsletter, the press release stated.
An online wishlist, featuring toys, food and other necessities is available at shorturl.at/Z4mp0. Purchases made via the wishlist will be shipped directly to Furry Friends, the press release stated.
Tax-deductible monetary donations to the shelter may also be made at furryfriendswa.org/donate.
