Clark County is seeking public comment on its draft 2026 Annual Action Plan, detailing how federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME funds would support local projects, including some in Battle Ground.
The Clark County Council will hold a public hearing on the Annual Action Plan at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, at the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St., Vancouver. Participants may also attend virtually by visiting shorturl.at/utkjK.
Several proposed projects in the Annual Action Plan impact Battle Ground. One project would provide $98,831 for Battle Ground Healthcare dental services for low-income residents, while another would allocate $303,000 for new sidewalks along North Parkway Avenue between Northeast 25th Street and Onsdorff Boulevard. The sidewalk project would also receive an additional $201,500 through a proposed amendment to the 2025 plan, according to a Clark County news release.
Countywide, proposed project funding supports housing assistance, business development and services for low-income residents.
