Ridgefield Lions tree lot: 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Friday, Nov. 24, Ridgefield Outdoor Recreation Complex, 3101 S. Hillhurst Road, Ridgefield. The Christmas tree lot hosted by the Ridgefield Lions Club will be open until all trees are sold. Trees include Douglas, grand and noble firs. Other supplies include plain and decorated wreaths, garland and swag.

CAM Academy dedication: 4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 27, CAM Academy campus, 406 NW Fifth Ave., Battle Ground. Community members are invited to attend and tour the new campus, hear from students, families and staff. Ceremony begins at 5 p.m. in the commons.

Lewis River Rotary meeting: 5:45 p.m.-7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 28, location not provided. The rotary will meet with the Lewis River Rotary Foundation and Giving for North Clark County Food Bank, and Collins Coats for Kids. For more information, email marta.carminato@gmail.com.

2023 Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration: 5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, Battle Ground Community Center, 912 E. Main St. The City of Battle Ground will kick off the holiday season at its 34th annual holiday tree lighting. The event is free. After the lighting the Fire District 3 Engine and Battle Ground Police Department will escort Santa and Mrs. Claus into the Community Center to greet children. There will be holiday music and cookies and hot cocoa donated by Summit View Church.

Battle Ground Lights on Wheels: 6 p.m., Dec. 2, route map to-be-determined. The City of Battle Ground invites the community to register for the holiday lights on wheels parade by registering and then decorating their vehicles. Venersborg Schoolhouse Wreath-Making workshop: 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 2 p.m.-4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 3, Venersborg Schoolhouse, 24309 NE 209th St., Battle Ground. There will be two workshop sessions with 12 work stations. Registration is required. Bases, boughs, bows, decorations and all materials will be provided for $35 per wreath. La Center Christmas Festival: Friday, Dec. 1 through Sunday, Dec. 3, La Center. Events include a Santa Stride 5K run/walk; tree-lighting ceremony, gingerbread contest, coloring contest, pictures with Santa, band and choirs. Coffee with the Chief: 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 4, Dev’s Coffee Bar Battle Ground, 316 E. Main St., Battle Ground. People can meet with Fire District 3 Chief Scott Sorenson. He specifically wishes to hear from residents why they did not did not approve a fire levy lid lift in the August election.
