Teen mental fitness: 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 16. Join Prairie High School as they hold a teen mental fitness parent education and resource night, which will feature discussions on how to support teens who suffer from depression, anxiety and substance use disorders. Dangers of fentanyl: 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 16. Join the Ridgefield community as the Clark County Sheriff’s Office presents information on the dangers of fentanyl. Holiday craft night: 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18. Join the Battle Ground Parks and Recreation Department to make wreaths. Supplies and instructions will be provided. Holiday gift sale: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19. Join the Friends of Woodland Community Library as they hold a holiday gift sale, which includes used books, knitted and quilted items, Dickens Village pieces, gift baskets, model cars and trains, Christmas decorations and other decor items. Sales will help fund the Woodland Community Library and support a future library. The sale will be at the VFW Hall, 434 Davidson Ave., Woodland. For more information, call 360-225-2294.

Holiday tree lighting celebration: 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2. Join the Battle Ground community as they celebrate during the annual tree lighting celebration at the Battle Ground Community Center. There will be live music and caroling with the Battle Ground High School choir. Santa Claus will make a grand entrance on a Fire District 3 engine. Santa and Mrs. Claus will also greet children at the center. There will be holiday cookies and hot cocoa as well. Admission is free. The Battle Ground Community Center is located at 912 E. Holiday party and auction: 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2. Join ilani for the Southwest Washington Contractors Association’s “Old Hollywood” holiday party and auction. Scholarships will be awarded and fundraising will take place for the SWCA’s construction career program. ilani is located at 1 Cowlitz Way, Ridgefield. Winter market: 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3. Join the Ridgefield Church of the Nazarene for its winter market, which will feature vendors, food carts, a photo booth and a gift basket raffle. It will be held at 747 Pioneer St., Ridgefield. Battle of Lights: Saturday, Dec. 3 to Wednesday, Dec. 21. Join the Battle Ground community for the annual Battle of Lights as residents decorate their homes for the holiday season. A prize will be awarded for the best decorated home. Houses will be judged on creative use of lights, unique design, outstanding story and theme, and presentation. The event is free to participate in. Registration will run through Dec. 1. Winners will be announced on Dec. 22. La Center Christmas celebration: 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4. Join the city of La Center as they hold a tree lighting ceremony and other festivities, like a coloring contest sponsored by the Lions Club. The event will be held near city hall at 210 E. Chair based yoga: 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 14. Join the Battle Ground Senior Citizens as they host chair based yoga. Battle Ground Toastmasters: The Battle Ground Toastmasters work to improve communication skills and have fun doing it. Bliss Yoga (Lewisville): 6 to 7:15 p.m. on Wednesdays at the Tukes Valley school stage, Mondays from 6 to 7:15 p.m. and Fridays from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Lewisville Campus gymnasium stage area, 406 NW Fifth Ave., Battle Ground.
