Lewis River Rotary: 5:45 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 24. Join the Lewis River Rotary Club as Brad Richardson, the executive director of the Clark County Historical Society, speaks. Richardson will inform people about the changes to the museum downtown and new history he has learned about Battle Ground. It will be held at the Battle Ground Community Center, 912 E. Race for Warmth: Kids race begins at 8:30 a.m. with other events to follow on Sunday, Jan. 29. The ninth annual Race for Warmth timed 10k run and 5k walk/run will raise awareness and funds for Operation Warm Heart, a Clark Public Utilities customer-funded program that helps families in financial crisis pay heating bills. A free race for children ages 3 to 8 years old will kick off the event. Registration is encouraged but not required. The run will start and finish at the Clark Public Utilities downtown location at 1200 Fort Vancouver Way in Vancouver. Registration is $30 and includes a long-sleeve performance shirt and race bag. Pre-registration is recommended and available online through midnight on Jan. 28 at raceforwarmth.com. Same-day registration begins at 7 a.m. and runs until 8:30 a.m. The cost for same-day registration is $40 and there is no guarantee that a shirt and race bag will be included. 

Daughters of Pioneers meeting: Bring your own lunch for optional social time at 12:30 p.m., meeting starts at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 2. The Daughters of the Pioneers of Washington Chapter No. 19 will meet as member Sherry Lambert, the president of the State Association of The Daughters of the Pioneers of Washington (DPW), provides an update on the DPW. Industry fair: 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16. Employers are invited to participate in the Battle Ground Public Schools Industry Fair at Battle Ground High School, 300 W. Main St. Businesses in and around Clark County can reserve a table at the free event that draws hundreds of students, families and community members who are actively seeking career opportunities or wanting to learn more about local employers. Businesses interested in hosting a table at the educational evening at Battle Ground High School should sign up at bit.ly/3sbywMi. Bliss Yoga (Lewisville): 6 to 7:15 p.m. on Wednesdays at the Tukes Valley school stage, Mondays from 6 to 7:15 p.m. and Fridays from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Lewisville Campus gymnasium stage area, 406 NW Fifth Ave., Battle Ground.
