Unveiling of disc golf course: 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 23. Join the Hockinson Meadows Community Park as they unveil the construction of a new 18-hole disc golf course. Attendees will be given the opportunity to ask questions and submit comments. Registration can be found online at clark.wa.gov/public-works/hockinson-meadows-community-park. (Her)Story: Rebel Women of Clark County: Doors open at 5 p.m. and the event starts at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 3. Join the Clark County Historical Museum as April Buzby presents “(Her)Story: Rebel Women of Clark County,” which details the lives of Elizabeth Jane Herrington Irwin and Mary Ellen Bates, two women who served in WWI and WWII. General admission is $5, seniors and students are $4, children under 18 are $3, and the event is free for CCHM members, veterans, and active-duty military personnel. Guests are encouraged to arrive early, as seating is limited. Proof of vaccination is required. The event is at the Clark County Historical Museum, 1511 Main St., Vancouver.
