Lewis River Rotary meeting: 7 to 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3. Join the Lewis River Rotary as published author Laura Kehoe speaks about turning your goals into reality at the Battle Ground Community Center, 912 E. Main St., Battle Ground. The Lewis River Rotary club meets from 7 to 8 a.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of the month and from 5:45 to 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays. Guests are welcome. Daughters of Pioneers meeting: Bring your own lunch for social time at 12:30 p.m., meeting starts at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 5. Join the Daughters of the Pioneers of Washington Chapter No. 19 as member Sherry Lambert, president of the state association of The Daughters of the Pioneers of Washington, provides an update. Senior luncheon: Doors open at 11 a.m., general meeting at 11:30 a.m. and lunch served at noon on Monday, Jan. 9. Rick Browne, a celebrity chef, journalist and television star will make his chili and cornbread. The group will celebrate National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day with Battle Ground Police Chief Michael Fort. Creative cardmaking class: 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 11. Join the Battle Ground Senior Citizens for a creative cardmaking class. Bliss Yoga (Lewisville): 6 to 7:15 p.m. on Wednesdays at the Tukes Valley school stage, Mondays from 6 to 7:15 p.m. and Fridays from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Lewisville Campus gymnasium stage area, 406 NW Fifth Ave., Battle Ground.
