Mountain View Easter Egg Hunt: 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 13. Join the Mountain View Christian Center for a free easter egg hunt for children up to sixth grade. There will be prizes, activities and snacks. The event will occur rain or shine. For more information, email laurel.killin@outlook.com.

IQ Credit Easter Egg Hunt: 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 16. Join the Ridgefield community for IQ Credit Union’s 13th annual Easter Egg Hunt at Overlook Park in downtown Ridgefield. The egg hunt will start at 11 a.m. It is located at 113-131 S. Main Ave., Ridgefield. 

Woodland Easter Egg Hunt: 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 16. Join the Woodland Moose Lodge and the rest of the community for an annual easter egg hunt at Horseshoe Lake Park, which will include prize baskets. Children aged 11 and under are welcome. Female ancestors webinar: 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20. Join the Clark County Genealogical Society for a free webinar, “Unlocking Stories of Female Ancestors Through Effective Research,” which will display research methodologies that unlock previously “hidden” evidence of female ancestors’ stories. Woodland library fundraiser: 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 23. Join the Friends of Woodland Community Library as they host a fundraiser for a new library. The Love Your Library event will feature a silent auction, a live auction and live music. Appetizers, desserts and complimentary beverages will be provided. Hacker Architects will present the conceptual design for the new Woodland Community Library. Tickets are $45. Join the Clark County Genealogical Society for a free webinar, “Wringing Every Drop Out of Mitochondrial DNA,” which will teach people how to obtain information on their family tree through mitochondrial DNA and resources like Geni or WikiTree. Ridgefield High School Golden Grads Social: 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 15. The Ridgefield High School classes of 1967, 1969 and 1970 will host a Sunday social, which raises funds for scholarships for the class of 2022. Hors d’oeuvres, desserts, coffee and water will be provided. Those who want soda must bring their own. Registration is $20, which will cover food and other expenses. Miss Teen La Center Scholarship Pageant: 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 23. La Center will hold its annual Miss Teen La Center Scholarship Pageant for girls ages 13 to 18. The event is open to girls from Ridgefield as well. It will be held at the new La Center Middle School, 2001 NE Lockwood Creek Road, La Center. Pig Jam: 4 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10. Join the Battle Ground community for a Pig Jam, which will serve a large, roasted barbecue pig while an AC/DC tribute band plays. Food is $25, and includes three different plates, each with a quarter pound of meat and a side. Attendees can listen to the band’s performance for free. La Center kindergarten registration: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays at the La Center Elementary School office, 700 E. Fourth St., or online at lacenterschools.org. Kindergarten for La Center children starts on April 11. Parents are strongly encouraged to register beforehand. Children must turn 5 years old on or before Aug. 31. Parents must bring a copy of their child’s immunization record and birth certificate. Kindy Club Nights will also be hosted from 5 to 6 p.m. on April 21 and May 19 in the La Center Elementary School cafeteria. The events help prepare incoming students.

Happy Hoppers beginner square dance lessons: 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Monday through April 25. Join Happy Hoppers in square dancing lessons for beginners. Cost is $5 per person.
