Clark County seeks volunteers for law and justice council

The Clark County Council is seeking applicants for an open seat on the county’s law and justice council.

The position is open to a resident who lives in an incorporated city in Clark County, stated a news release.

The law and justice council was established by law to help coordinate activities of the local criminal justice system and to develop a community corrections plan for local and state corrections services in the county.



The council currently meets at 8 a.m. on the second Thursday of the month in suite 679 at the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St., Vancouver. 

Applicants should submit a brief letter of interest and a resume to Michelle Pfenning, County Manager’s Office, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver, 98666-5000. They can also be emailed to michelle.pfenning@clark.wa.gov.  

The application deadline is at 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 25.
