Clark County seeks volunteers for Law and Justice Council

The Clark County Council is looking for applicants to fill two seats on its Law and Justice Council.

The council, according to a news release, is established by law to help coordinate activities of local criminal justice and develops a community corrections plan for local and state corrections services in the county.

The county council is looking for applicants for one position which will be filled by a resident living in the unincorporated area of the county and one position for a person in an incorporated city.



Meetings are currently held online at 8 a.m. on the second Tuesday of every month.

Those interested in applying should submit a brief letter of interest and a resume to Michelle Pfenning, County Manager’s Office, PO Box 5000, Vancouver, WA 98666. Applications can also be emailed to michelle.pfenning@clark.wa.gov.

The deadline for applications is 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 30.
