Clark County seeks volunteer for Ethics Review Commission

Clark County is seeking a volunteer with experience related to government ethical conduct to fill an opening on the county’s Ethics Review Commission. Applications are due by 5 p.m., Friday, Nov. 21.

The vacancy is for position No. 1 and will complete an unexpired three-year term ending Aug. 1, 2026. Commission members cannot hold elected office, serve as an officer of a political party or be employed by the county during their term, according to a Clark County news release.

The Ethics Review Commission investigates and rules on complaints related to the county’s Code of Ethical Conduct. The group meets quarterly, with additional meetings scheduled as needed. Members may attend in person or virtually, the news release stated.

Applicants should submit a letter of interest and résumé to Jake Goodwin in the County Manager’s Office at PO Box 5000, Vancouver, WA 98666-5000, or email jake.goodwin@clark.wa.gov.
