Clark County is seeking volunteers to fill up to two vacancies on its Railroad Advisory Board, a 15-member group that advises the county on issues related to the Chelatchie Prairie Railroad.
Applicants with railroad-related experience or business experience using freight rail service are encouraged to apply. Board members serve three-year terms, with new terms anticipated to begin after Jan. 1. Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled, a news release by Clark County stated.
The board meets from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on the second Monday of each month at the Public Service Center, located at 1300 Franklin St., Vancouver, or online via Microsoft Teams.
