Clark County is seeking applications for two open seats on the Clark County Historic Preservation Commission. Applications are due by 5 p.m., Wednesday, May 21.
The seven-member volunteer commission guides the county’s historic preservation efforts. Applicants should bring a strong interest or background in historic preservation, history, architecture or related fields such as archaeology, cultural anthropology or planning. The county also encourages applications from those who reflect the region’s ethnic, cultural, and geographic diversity and who have experience in public speaking or community engagement.
The commission meets at 6 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month in a hybrid format at the Public Service Center in Vancouver and via Webex, the news release stated.
Applicants may submit a letter of interest and résumé to Michelle Pfenning at the County Manager’s Office, PO Box 5000, Vancouver, WA 98666-5000 or email michelle.pfenning@clark.wa.gov.
