Clark County Public Works seeks applicants for Clean Water Commission

Clark County Public Works is looking for applicants to fill a position on the Clean Water Commission.

Applicants can live anywhere in Clark County. Residents with a background and expertise with environmental issues are encouraged to apply, stated a news release.

The nine-member advisory group makes recommendations to the Clark County Council about policies, services and the financing needed to meet state and federal requirements for water quality and stormwater management improvements. 

The term will begin immediately and ends on Dec. 31, stated a news release.

Interested residents need to submit a letter and resume to Justin Maynard, Clark County Clean Water Division, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver, WA, 98666 or by email to cleanwater@clark.wa.gov.



Applicants who have submitted an application within the last 12 months will automatically be considered, stated the release. 

The deadline to apply is 3 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 23. 

The commission’s public meetings are currently held via WebEx video conferencing and will start at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 6 and Nov. 3.
