Clark County Joint Lobby to reopen Oct. 2

Posted

Clark County will celebrate the grand reopening of its Joint Lobby with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and community event Friday, Oct. 2, at the Clark County Public Service Center, located at 1300 Franklin St., Vancouver.

Doors will open at 4 p.m., with the ribbon-cutting scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. The celebration will transition into a 5 p.m. opening reception for the KC Madsen Gallery in the renovated Joint Lobby, according to a Clark County news release. The event will coincide with the First Friday Art Walk and an opening reception for the sixth-floor Anstine Gallery.

The Joint Lobby is a collaboration between the county assessor, auditor and treasurer offices. Staff from all three offices are cross-trained to provide many common services in one location, including document recording, marriage licenses and certificates, property tax payments, property tax relief and deferral programs and questions about assessed property values.

The recent remodel includes an updated layout and service areas intended to improve the experience for residents and staff. The Joint Lobby is open for in-person services Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is closed Fridays. The offices are available by phone Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
