On Tuesday, April 15, the Clark County Council unanimously approved a resolution allowing the Vancouver Housing Authority (VHA) to operate freely in unincorporated parts of the county without needing case-by-case approval.
The decision allows VHA to respond faster to market opportunities.
Previously, VHA could only work within Vancouver city limits and a 5-mile radius outside of its boundaries, often requiring separate county review for each project.
The resolution removes this process entirely in Clark County.
