Clark County Superior Court Adult Drug Court will hold a 25th anniversary celebration at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, at Clark College Gaiser Hall, 1933 Fort Vancouver Way, Vancouver. The free public event will include a buffet and presentation.

The Adult Drug Court is a sentencing alternative designed to treat individuals suffering from substance abuse or co-occurring mental health disorders and facing felony criminal charges. Qualifying individuals are provided an opportunity to enroll in the Adult Drug Court program for rehabilitation, a Clark County news release stated.
The program consists of a prescribed set of treatment sessions, recovery support services, skill-building classes and more, according to a news release. Enrollees are often in the rehabilitation program for a year or longer.
The program has had 781 successful graduates since its inception in 1999, the news release stated.
