Betty Irene Hein died peacefully June 23, 2021, at her long term care facility home at the age of 90.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gerald Hein and her children, Tracy Hein, David Hein, and Rhonda Seronian. Her son, Darren Long, preceded her in death.
Betty is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Betty was born on a homestead in Montana and then moved to the Pacific Northwest in 1943. She graduated from Vancouver High School in 1950.
For the past 40 years, she and Gary enjoyed living in Ridgefield. Betty loved her horses and spent numerous hours trail riding and being part of drill teams. She was a talented artist who mastered the art of painting in her 40s.
During this time, she was also working at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Vancouver.
Betty is remembered as the kindest, most loving person you could ever have in your life. She was a gem and we already miss her greatly!
