Battle Ground resident Megan Farra, 39, has pleaded guilty in federal court in Rhode Island for her role in a drug trafficking conspiracy involving Schedule IV controlled substances.
Farra pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute controlled substances and one count of possession with intent to distribute controlled substances. She is scheduled to be sentenced on March 3, 2026, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Rhode Island.
Court documents state that Farra participated in a drug-distribution network that received bulk shipments of pills from an overseas source. Members of the organization repackaged the drugs into smaller quantities and mailed them to buyers across the United States in exchange for payment. Prosecutors said the conspiracy was responsible for distributing tens of thousands of pills containing controlled substances, as well as non-controlled prescription drugs.
The case was investigated by the Food and Drug Administration Office of Criminal Investigations, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and Homeland Security Investigations.
