Battle Ground Elks Lodge No. 2589 has received a $2,000 grant from the Elks National Foundation that will aid the organization in a partnership that provides diapers to the community.
The second Gratitude Grant will allow the lodge to partner with the Battle Ground Adventist Community Services’ Diaper Bank.
The grant will help fund the order of 30,000 diapers, stated a news release.
“We are excited to have this chance to partner with BG ACS’s Diaper Bank, knowing these grants have a direct impact on families in our community,” stated the release.
The diaper bank provides diapers to clients that come to food banks, as well as other partnering organizations with local services, like the Salvation Army, the Evergreen School District Resource Center and Clark County Public Health.
