Community members can help bring Christmas joy to veterans’ families during Battle Ground Auto License’s holiday gift drive. Drop-off for unwrapped children’s gifts will open on Friday, Nov. 29, at 301 W. Main St., Suite 101, Battle Ground.

Gift donations will be provided to low-income or homeless veteran families who may otherwise be unable to provide holiday presents to their children, a press release by Battle Ground Auto License stated.

Donors are encouraged to drop off toys, games, books, warm clothing, art supplies and gift cards for older children, the release stated.

This gift drive is particularly important for the Veterans Center in Vancouver, which allows veteran parents to browse donated gifts to give to their children, the press release stated.
